Mermaid Maritime Public Company Limited announced that its subsidiary MTR‐1 (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., has secured a letter of award with an international upstream oil and gas company for accommodation barge support services in Indonesia utilizing the ‘MTR‐1’.

The duration of this Contract is for 150 days and has a potential value of USD 4.9 million.

Self Erecting Tender Barge MTR -1 is able to erect the DS 24 with its own main crane on platform beams up to 27.43m (90 ft) above M.S.L. The DS 24 is supported by the skid beams of the platform deck which could be either perpendicular or parallel to the tender axes. The DS 24 is Pride Foramer design, built in 1998 by SSE in Johor Bahru (Malaysia).
