Bloomberg today reported that Brazil’s oil giant, Petrobras, has found evidence of natural gas in an exploration well located in BM-POT-11 offshore block, Potiguar basin.
The well was drilled using with the Petrobras V jack-up rig. The Brazilian National Agency of Petroleum (ANP) said on its website that the discovery has not yet been declared commercially viable.
The Potiguar basin is situated on the northeastern coast of Brazil and it is divided in two sections, offshore and onshore.
