Turkmenistan has reduced its natural gas exports to Iran due to technical problems, managing director of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), Javad Owji said.
According to the report of the public relations of the NIGC, he said that despite reduction in Turkmen gas exports, no Iranian city has so far experienced disruption in gas supply.
He also said that extremely cold weather in Central Asia is the main reason for the reduction of Turkmenistan’s gas exports to Iran.
