Russia: Baltic Shipyard Lays Keel for New KONTUR’s Oil Tanker

Baltic Shipyard today laid the keel for the 4th oil tanker under the Project 2734 for KONTUR LLC. Baltic Shipyard and Baltic Fuel Company Group (BFC) signed the contract in November 2010, and it will be financed by the Bank of Saint Petersburg. Baltic Shipyard today laid the keel for the 4th oil tanker under the Project 2734 for KONTUR LLC. Baltic Shipyard and Baltic Fuel Company Group (BFC) signed the contract in November 2010, and it will be financed by the Bank of Saint Petersburg.

The Project 2734, designed by Marine Engineering Bureau, was developed to satisfy the customer’s requirements, according to the latest innovations and internationally approved standards of shipbuilding.

Taisiya, the Lead vessel of this project, was launched on Sept. 27, 2011.
