Leading international oilfield services company Expro has won a coveted safety leadership award at a prestigious awards dinner in Aberdeen last night.

Expro won the award from Subsea UK in recognition of its outstanding safety record.

The safety leadership award is given to companies who can demonstrate outstanding safety management and performance. This is achieved by a consistent management and employee focus on health and safety processes across the business globally.

Subsea UK’s Business Award dinner celebrates the industry as a whole and highlights the success of a selected few who receive acknowledgement for its achievements.

David Ford, Expro’s group HSEQ manager , said: “Expro is committed to achieving no injuries or occupational health incidents during our operations. In Expro, the performance of our employees and their continued commitment to safety is a source of great pride. We pro-actively encourage employee engagement throughout all levels and disciplines of the organisation in order to identify and deliver opportunities for improvement.

“I am delighted that the hard work that our employees demonstrate has been recognised by our peers within the industry.”
