The Netherlands: TenneT Appoints New CFO

TenneT announces that Mr Eelco de Boer (58) has been appointed as CFO of TenneT Holding B.V. He will join the Board of Management as a director under the articles of association. TenneT announces that Mr Eelco de Boer (58) has been appointed as CFO of TenneT Holding B.V. He will join the Board of Management as a director under the articles of association. Mr De Boer has been employed by TenneT as interim financial administrator since mid-2010.

Eelco de Boer has over 20 years of experience in the international energy sector, having been previously employed by Shell in various management positions. He also served as CFO of VNU/Sanoma and Swets & Zeitlinger.

TenneT is pleased with Mr De Boer’s appointment, who had already been employed at TenneT as interim financial administrator. TenneT is making capital-intensive investments in the Netherlands as well as Germany, in order to contribute to the future security of supply and accommodate the growing use of renewable energy sources.

Mr De Boer was appointed on the recommendation of the Supervisory Board; his appointment was approved by the Minister of Finance.
