India’s Gujarat Gas said that it has yesterday entered into an agreement with BG India Energy Solutions, to purchase re-gasified LNG.
The company said it will buy up to 1.0 mmscmd (39,206 mmbtu/day) of re-gasified LNG for the period from April 01, 2012 to December 31, 2012 on a firm basis.
“ This contract, in addition to existing indigenous and RLNG gas sources, provides the company with the majority orthe natural gas requirements for its markets during 2012 ,” Gujarat Gas said in a statement.
