Partrac will be hosting the “Unique Challenges of Site Characterisation in Wave & Tidal Projects” workshop on 14th March 2012 from 14:00 – 17:00 in the EICC, Edinburgh. This event will take place the day before RenewableUK Wave & Tidal 2012 Conference and Exhibition.

This free workshop will comprise a series of presentations from key players within the wave and tidal sector, offering insights and sharing the difficulties they have encountered when characterising and acquiring data at marine energy sites across the UK.

In addition to a series of short presentations, there will be an interactive session at the end of the workshop for attendees to examine the site characterisation process and how it can be streamlined within the process of site development to reduce risk and provide timely data.
