2012 starts for T.O.S. (Transport & Offshore Services) with an expansion of its services in the Oil & Gas industry. Early this year Michael Koops was appointed as Business Development Manager Oil & Gas to strengthen the positions of T.O.S. in this industry.

Koops : “T.O.S. is a strong player in supplying maritime and technical professionals in the maritime, offshore and oil and gas industry. It is up to me to expand the (market) share of T.O.S. in the oil and gas with focus on the Upstream, Engineering and Offshore construction industry. In these industries we offer our clients among others the expertise of T.O.S. in the disciplines project management, project services and construction supervision.”

For the past 6 years Michael Koops has worked at Brunel Energy Europe BV in various account and (sales)management positions in the oil and gas industry. In his last position as Sales Manager he was responsible for the control of the sales activities. Previously, Michael Koops worked for various staffing and recruiting companies. In the function of Business Development Manager Oil & Gas Michael Koops will be the face of T.O.S. in the Oil & Gas market. In doing so he will build on the foundation that T.O.S. has established in this market with the joint ventures TIM in Brazil and TOS Sheffield in Singapore over the past year.

“Oil & Gas is one of the six priorities of T.O.S. and in addition to Maritime, Offshore, Renewables, Shore Based Jobs and Ship Delivery it is part of the markets in which we operate. For T.O.S. the appointment of Michael Koops is a logical progression to strengthen our position in the Oil & Gas and to fulfil our growth intentions for 2012. We have confidence in our global network and the expertise of Michael to grow in this exciting industry.” thus Marleen Stuurman, Executive Manager Operations.
