Malaysia’s Kencana Petroleum Berhad yesterday announced that it had received a contract for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of offshore facilities from Murphy Sarawak Oil.

The contract includes provision of engineering, procurement and construction of substructures, template and related services for Patricia and Serendah offshore platforms which are part of SK309 field development located offshore Bintulu, Sarawak.

The value of the contract is approximately RM101 million (USD 33.4 million) . The contract is expected to be delivered between the 1st and the 3rd quarter this year.
