On February 23th 2012, the 57.000 DWT bulk carrier (HT092), built for Eagle Bulk, was successfully launched of the N0.2 slipway of Hantong Shipyard. The vessel is class approved by LR. Executive vice general manager- Mr. Chen Linjun together with the representatives of the ship-owner and the class all attend the ceremony.
The keel laying ceremony for this vessel (HT092) was held on November 25th 2011 at the shipyard.
Jiangsu Hantong ship heavy industry Co., Ltd (HTS) is a newly-built large and medium-sized enterprise. HTS invested to construct Jiangsu New HanTong ship heavy industry Co.,Ltd and Nantong Zhongye vessel Accessory Co.,Ltd in February 2008. The shipyard gained the accreditation of ISO9001:2002 and OSAH14000/GB25008 the quality management system and is engaged in the construction of large vessels and ocean engineering units approved by Class like ABS, DNV, BV, LR, CCS.
