Dong E&P Norge AS has received consent to use a subsea facility and pipeline on the Oselvar, an offshore oil field located 250 km (160 mi) southwest of Stavanger in the southern Norwegian section of North Sea

The Oselvar field is situated southwest of Ula and northwest of Ekofisk. The field was discovered in 1991 and is part of production licences 274 and 274CS.

Water depth at the site is approx. 72 metres. The plan is to start production on 1 April 2012.
