Swedish Lundin Norway AS has exercised the option for an additional well with Dolphin Drilling AS, a subsidiary of Fred. Olsen Energy ASA, for use of the semi-submersible drilling unit Bredford Dolphin.
The well will be in direct continuation with current contract with Lundin Norway AS. The contract value for the exercised option is approximately USD 21.9 million for an estimated drilling program of 60 days.
Lundin is using Bredford Dolphin for drilling operations offshore Norway. The company recently received PSA Norway’s consent to use the rig for drilling at PL 519.
