Norway: Inocean Supports Aibel in Statoil’s Astero FPU Design

Inocean will support Aibel Norge AS in a Class B Study for the Substructure design of a Statoil Floating Production Unit FPU for the Astero field in the North Sea. Inocean’s scope of work is related to hull design, including hull structure, hydrodynamics and stability, mooring and riser arrangements

Inocean will support Aibel Norge AS in a Class B Study for the Substructure design of a Statoil Floating Production Unit FPU for the Astero field in the North Sea.

Inocean’s scope of work is related to hull design, including hull structure, hydrodynamics and stability, mooring and riser arrangements and marine systems.

The Astero field was discovered in 2005 and is located north of the Troll field in the Norwegian part of the North Sea.
