Aberdeen-based Project Engineer Sadie Jo Koller, part of Seabed Intervention team, was unveiled by Subsea UK as a finalist in their prestigious Business Awards under the Emerging New Talent category. The awards were handed out during the annual Subsea 2012 conference, held early February in Aberdeen and hosting more than 3,000 visitors and 130 exhibitors.

Sadie joined AGR in 2010 and immediately became part of the North Scarp N1K project for Chevron followed by the Ormen Lange Mid-North Deepwater Excavation Project, working directly for Norske Shell.

John Hunter, the Design and Development Manager of Seabed Intervention , said: “A number of the improvements made by Sadie to AGR Ormen Lange operations are regarded as the standard way to operate and execute Seabed Intervention. Sadie has shown that despite her youth, people listen to her and act on her ideas, this drive and performance is why she was nominated for this award and we are delighted that she was shortlisted.”

Sadie commented herself: “It was both an honour and surprise to be nominated for the award! I have really enjoyed my time at AGR and the challenges that have been presented to me. I have learnt so much from both the colleagues onshore and offshore and thank them for that. I hope to continue to develop and learn in my role at AGR.”
