ConocoPhillips UK has decided to extend its relationship with COSL Drilling Europe, awarding the company with a new four month contract plus two x 1 month option extensions for the COSLRival accommodation rig.
The unit has been working for ConocoPhillips at Jasmine oil field, located in the North Sea, since April 2011, and will continue its work in the UK sector.
Jørgen Arnesen, President/Chief Executive Officer for COSL Drilling Europe AS says: ‘This continuing assignment strengthens the co-operation between COSL and our client and adds to the long relationship between the companies. The accommodation unit has been working for ConocoPhillips since mid-2007 in both Norway and on the UK Continental Shelf”
In August 2010, ConocoPhillips expressed gratitude to COSL by sending a letter granting COSL Drilling Europe “CDE” the “Award for Outstanding Suppliers to ConocoPhillips UK Jasmine Project”.
