As part of Bowtech’s continual product improvement strategy, the compact tooling and diving cameras have been upgraded with 100 more TV lines.
The monochrome LCC-700 camera replaces the LCC-600 and the colour camera L3C-650 replaces the LCC-550.
Bowtech’s LCC and L3C cameras have been on the market for over 15 years. The first cameras, which were state of the art at the time, had 380 and 350 TV lines respectively. As camera technology has progressed over the years, the cameras have been upgraded as significant increases in performance were proven to ensure that Bowtech continues to deliver the most up to date and reliable camera technology to the customers.
These sensitive, higher resolution cameras are manufactured in a Titanium housing with Sapphire glass ports and are rated for use to 4000 metres ocean depth (with a 6000 metre option). They have proven extremely popular with customers with over 5000 from this range of cameras delivered for use in many underwater industries and applications.
The Bowtech Divecam range (rated to 100 or 300metres) has also been upgraded by 100 TV Lines each. Divecams are available in both colour and monochrome with either aluminium or acrylic housing.
Bowtech are delighted with the image quality delivered from these cameras. Steve Bowring, Managing Director , commented that the LCC-700 produces “the best monochrome image I have ever seen in our test tanks ”. We believe this is the first 700TVL underwater monochrome camera available and therefore currently the highest resolution monochrome SD camera on the market.
