Oman Shipping Company S.A.O.C. (OSC) confirmed an order for a newbuild LNG Carrier, at Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) in Ulsan, South Korea.
The LNG Carrier, for delivery in 2014, will have a 162,000 cubic meter capacity, and it will have dual fuel technology.
Further the vessel will comply with European “Green Certificate” requirements.
OSC already owns and operates a fleet of 5 LNG Carriers, which are all technically managed “In-house” by Oman Ship Management Company (OSMC).
