SeaBird Exploration PLC, a Cyprus-based international provider of marine acquisition for 2D/3D and 4D seismic data, has been awarded a USD 3 million contract.

The survey will be carried out for a major oil company in South America by the Harrier Explorer which is now en route to Brazil. Upon arrival, the vessel will begin a long term charter in early Q2 2012.

Harrier Explorer, an 81 meters long Dual Propulsion 2D/Source Vessel joined the Company’s fleet for operation September 2007.
