Oman Shipping Company’s first VLOC, the VALE LIWA was floated out of the construction docks and transferred to the final outfitting berth at Rongsheng Heavy Industries shipyard in China.

The VALE LIWA is the first in a series of four VLOC’s currently under construction for Oman Shipping Company at the yard.

Separately, that same day Oman Shipping Company S.A.O.C. took delivery of a Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) “IZKI” at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. Ltd (DSME), Okpo, South Korea.
