Yesterday, on March 26th 2012, naming ceremony for Hull No. S054 successfully took place at Hyundai-vinashin under honorable attendance of representatives from Owner, Class and Yards. S054 is a 82.000 DWT Bulk Carrier, the first in the series of the 2 Kamramax size vessels contracted with Hi Investment & Securities Co., Ltd, Korea.
Hull No. S054 was officially named “M/V Ams Pegasus I” by godmother, Mrs. Shin In Sook.
With the accomplishment of building such big vessel, the Yard’s first in this size, Mr. Y. H. Lee, President & CEO of HVS expressed his proud and honor as well as acknowledged that it as a testament to the hard work and dedication of all HVS employees.
This is also a significantly meaningful project. It not only brings effective profits for the Yard to compensate for current difficulty but also creates background for a firmer development in the future.
As scheduled, “M/V Ams Pegasus I” will be delivered to shipowner on March 30th 2012.
