HYSY720, a seismic vessel owned by China Oilfield Services Limited (“COSL”), has successfully completed 3D seismic data acquisition in East China Sea , establishing a precedence of all-weather operations for COSL’s geophysical fleet.

This operation is the first East China Sea contract as well as the largest in terms of exploration area for HYSY720. It covers an area of approximately 3,062 km2. HYSY720 vessel keeps updating weather conditions instantly through numerous channels, and summarizing all sorts of information for timely decision making.

“This helps tap all possible working windows, maximizing our efficiency while ensuring safety and quality of the operation,” reads a statement mady by COSL.
