From 1 April 2012, Jens-Peter Saul (45) takes over the position as CEO of Ramboll from Flemming Bligaard Pedersen (63). This transition marks a generation change in the management of the largest consultancy company in the Nordics.

Jens-Peter Saul holds a degree in engineering from the University of Hannover. He has made his career at Siemens since 1996, most recently as CEO of Siemens Wind Power and before that as Managing Director of Siemens Energy in the UK and North & West Europe.

In March 2012, Jens commenced his position as CEO of the Ramboll Group based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has now taken over all responsibilities for further development from former CEO, Flemming Bligaard Pedersen, who has headed the company for the past 20 years.

“It’s a privilege to take over such a well-run organisation. It is very clear that this organisation has a strong value-base – and that is the core for a sustainable business,” Jens-Peter Saul says, and continues: “The ambition of becoming a global community consultant – developing solutions for society, looking at the global megatrends and making a difference to society – really appeals to me. I am very much looking forward to continuing the impressive journey Ramboll has had so far.”

Flemming Bligaard Pedersen will over the next two years continue to act on a consultancy basis.
