The Netherlands: Vroon Takes Delivery of Its New Wind Farm Service Vessel

Vroon announced today, Monday 2 April 2012, that the company has taken delivery of MPI Cardenio. MPI Cardenio is a windfarm-service vessel, built at the South Boats Medina Shipyard on the Isle of Wight. She is the seventh addition to the MPI Workboats fleet and will commence operations immediately f

Vroon announced today, Monday 2 April 2012, that the company has taken delivery of MPI Cardenio.

MPI Cardenio is a windfarm-service vessel, built at the South Boats Medina Shipyard on the Isle of Wight. She is the seventh addition to the MPI Workboats fleet and will commence operations immediately for Staoil in the Sheringham Shoal Offshore Windfarm.

The wind farm is located 17 km offshore Sheringham in North Norfolk and consists of 88 Siemens 3.6 MW wind turbines.
