Singapore based Ezion Holdings Limited has secured an $80 million charter contract over a 4 year period to provide a Service Rig to be used by a national oil major to support its oil & gas activities in Central America. Singapore based Ezion Holdings Limited has secured an $80 million charter contract over a 4 year period to provide a Service Rig to be used by a national oil major to support its oil & gas activities in Central America.

While Ezion doesn’t provide the name of the customer, some sources say that the “national oil major” is probably Pemex.

The Service Rig which is the second of the Group to be deployed in the Sonda de Campeche field, offshore Mexico, is expected to be working by the 4 th Quarter of 2012 after its refurbishment and upgrading.
