SeaBird Exploration PLC, the Cyprus-based owner of seismic acquisition vessels fleet, has received an extension from Spectrum on the 2D seismic contract for the Hawk Explorer in Brazil.
The extension has a contract value of approximately USD 7-8 million and is estimated to be completed by September 2012.
M/V Hawk Explorer joined the fleet for operation in Oct.2006 after being converted to seismic vessel from trawler.
