Awilco LNG announced that the LNG vessel WilGas has been extended on a two year contract with Brazilian oil major, Petrobras.

The contract will commence on expiry of the existing contract in early November this year and is expected to contribute with an annualized EBITDA number of approximately USD 23mill during the new period, the company said in a statement.

Awilco LNG also said that it has agreed with the charterers of the LNG vessel WilPower, that the scheduled dry docking of the vessel will take place in May rather than July as previously announced.

As a consequence, the vessel will be off-hire until the vessel has completed the dry docking and is ready to resume trading, the company added.
