Bergen Group Vest Elektro has been awarded contact on design and installation of the electrical system on a new fishing vessel to be built at the Norwegian shipyard Fitjar Mekaniske Verksted AS (FMV).

The contract has an estimated value of NOK 9-10 million, and will generate activity for Bergen Group Vest Elektro in the first three quarters of 2013.

The fishing vessel, with a length of 67 meters and designed by Wärtsilä Ship Design, will be built by FMV AS for the owner Hardhaus in Austevoll.

Bergen Group West currently has a well-established partnership with FMV AS, including several other el-installation contracts on board in other newbuildings at the shipyard.
