As reported by Reuters, workers at the GDF Suez’s three liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals in France went back to work on Monday.
The strike termination is a result of an agreement GDF Suez’s Elengy unit proposed to the workers, which includes an improved manner of profit sharing.
“We’re restarting operations ,” head of CTG Union Reda Saker said, Reuters cited. “ We will have better profit-sharing thanks to this new agreement. ” According to Saker, further details of the contract are to be arranged at the upcoming meetings with the management.
The strike was launched on Tuesday, when work on all terminals was completely suspended, resulting in delays in unloading schedule and even forcing certain tankers to divert to other terminals.
