BaltShip Completes First Shipment for Gwynt Y Môr Windfarm in Irish Sea

BaltShip has successfully delivered the first of 80 shipments with offshore foundations for the Gwynt Y Môr Windfarm located in the Irish Sea.

The first shipment was loaded in Germany on 11 April and 5 days later the vessel arrived safely into Liverpool (Cammell Laird) where the foundations will be temporarily stored before the final offshore installation.

The project includes shipment of 160 foundations in total and is executed by use of three sister vessels with expected completion by end of 2013.
