Mermaid Maritime Public Company Limited’s tender assist drilling rig ‘MTR-2’ has recently achieved 1000 (one thousand) consecutive days of no lost time accidents (NTLA).

The ‘MTR-2’ is currently supporting Chevron’s drilling campaign in Indonesia through Mermaid’s operations base in Balikpapan. Her sister rig ‘MTR-1’ has also arrived in Indonesia and is preparing to commence its contract as an accommodation support barge.

“We are proud of our safety tradition which remains a cornerstone of our operations. We seek to continue to partner with our clients to deliver to them safe drilling and accommodation barge solutions wherever they are” , said Mr. Steve Lenz, Executive Director for Mermaid Drilling Ltd.
