China: Launching of MPV NORDANA at Taizhou Sanfu Shipyard

Taizhou Sanfu Shipyard (Sanfu) recently launched 12.000 DWT MPV NORDANA (Hull No.SF100102) built for Danish owner.

The vessel is built out of the certified steel as a single screw with main deck,forecastle,bulbs bow and equipped with two 150t Cranes,one unit of main engine Mak6M43, 5400KW and classed to GL,reached the requirement of E3,which is for carriage of containers,coal,salt,cement,grain,timber,steel coils etc,engine room and all accommodation is arranged aft.

The NORDANA has been built in compliance with the current rules and regulations of Germanicher Lloyd had been classed Classification Lloyd “+100 A5,cargo ship,ESP,E3,G,IW,BMW-F,“equipped for Carriage of Containers”,“Strengthened for Heavy Cargo”.

The overall length is 138.5 m. The length between perpendiculars is 130.0m, molded breadth is 21.0 m and molded depth is 11.0 m. The design draught is 7.5 m. The vessel is scheduled for delivery at the end of June.
