GEG Promotes Oliveira to General Manager for Brazil

Greene’s Energy Group (GEG), a leading provider of integrated testing, rentals and specialty services, has promoted Carlos Chagas de Oliveira, Jr., (“Carlos Junior”) to General Manager – Brazil, GEG Chief Executive Officer Bob Vilyus announced.

Based in Macaé, Junior previously served as GEG’s Senior Operational Manager where he was responsible for operational performance, developing supply chain policies and procedures and leading ISO certification and quality management efforts. Under his supervision GEG’s business in Brazil has grown significantly over an eight-month period. He has 17 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

As General Manager, Oliveira will be responsible for the financial, administrative and operational management of Brazilian operations in addition to strategic planning and business development efforts.

“Carlos has extensive experience in several sectors of the oil and gas industry and has used his talent to create new opportunities for himself and Greene’s Energy Group,” said Vilyus . “He takes the initiative needed to advance Greene’s Energia Servicos do Brasil to the next level.”

Oliveira is certified in oil and gas industry management through University Estacio de Sa. He has completed multiple management and development training courses through Weatherford International.
