On May 14, President of China Longyuan Power Xie Changjun met Asia Pacific CEO of SIEMENS Wind Power Company Kay Weber, party committee secretary of Shanghai Electric Wind-power Equipment Co., Ltd. Fan Xiaohong and his colleagues.
Xie Changjun first showed welcome to Mr. Weber and his colleagues and reviewed the pleasant cooperation process of China Longyuan Power with SIEMENS Wind Power Company and the former Bonus Company. Xie Changjun pointed out that China Longyuan Power would strive to keep rapid development pace in the future, adhere to the comprehensive development idea of “offshore, onshore, low wind speed, high altitude” and open heart to provide broad market opportunities for fan manufacturers worldwide. Xie Changjun advised SIEMENS Wind Power Company to both fully play the technological advantages and consider resource characteristics of China wind power, electricity price policies and matching engineering, develop high cost-effective wind turbines, search for market pattern of flexible mechanism and build timely and high-efficient after-sales service system.
Mr. Weber summed up the successful cooperation experience of both parties in Jiangsu Rudong offshore project, introduced the new joint venturing mode of separating production from sales established together with Shanghai Electric Wind-power Equipment Co., Ltd.. Mr. Weber showed sincere thanks to suggestions of Xie Changjun and expressed that SIEMENS Wind Power Company was quite confident to do better on China’s wind power market.
