Bergen Group Hanøytangen has been awarded an LOI from Semco Maritime for a possible yard stay at Hanøytangen for a semi-submersible drilling rig in Q3 2012. For Bergen Group Hanøytangen the project is estimated to generate a turnover of NOK 50-100 million.
Bergen Group Hanøytangen will be a subcontractor to Semco Maritime in the project estimated to last about 100 days. The work scope includes a wide range of yard services, as well as personnel, logistics, moorings, quay facilities and accommodation.
The company has during the last three years developed a functional and efficient offshore yard and service area on Askøy north of Bergen and the company has since its inception carried out several extensive projects on different drilling rigs.
Bergen Group Hanøytangen is part of Bergen Group’s offshore division together with Bergen Group Rosenberg in Stavanger and Bergen Group Offshore Kimek in Kirkenes.
