CNPC and Turkmengaz State Concern signed yesterday a cooperation agreement in Beijing. Under the agreement, Turkmenistan will increase gas supply to China via the Central Asia-China Gas Pipeline in addition to the current delivery amount.
On the same day, Yagshygeldi Kakayev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and also Director of State Agency for Management and Use of Hydrocarbon Resources, visited CNPC’s headquarters and Beijing Oil and Gas Pipeline Control Center in the company of CNPC Chairman Jiang Jiemin. They had a profound discussion on deepening cooperation in oil and gas businesses, and signed the document on behalf of the two sides.
