Baoding Municipal People’s Government and Kunlun Energy Company Limited recetly signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in relation to “Gasification of Baoding by Trinity of Pipeline Natural Gas, CNG and LNG”.
Pursuant to the Agreement, the Parties will implement the strategic plan of “Gasification of Baoding by Trinity of Pipeline Natural Gas, CNG and LNG” in Baoding, focused with piped natural gas, complemented with compressed natural gas (CNG) and highlighted with liquefied natural gas (LNG), by taking advantage of the abundant natural gas resources of PetroChina.
In particular, by 2015 the Parties will accelerate the improvement of gasification rate of natural gas and the fundamental gasification in respect of large-scale industrial enterprises and public welfare customers around Baoding, by fully utilizing on the natural gas supply through the gas pipelines from Bazhou to Baoding; complete the construction of natural gas pipelines from Bazhou to Baoding and the branch pipelines alongside; and increase the proportion of public buses driven by new energies to exceed the prescribed ratio as required by Hebei Provincial Government regarding the pilot cities for automobiles driven by new energies and accomplish the trial operation of LNG intercity coaches, upon which, they will commence the operation of LNG special lines for intercity coaches and urban public buses in due course.
