The Portland District Corps of Engineers intends to award a contract for Chetco Mechanical Dredging 2012.
This dredging project includes maintenance dredging at the Chetco River, entrance channel from RM 00+02 to 00+14 and in the boat basin, Brookings, Curry County, Oregon.
Approximately 26,000 cubic yards will be dredged. A mechanical dredge will be required. Water Quality Monitoring will be required.
Disposal of maintenance material will be at the ocean site (Section 102 site).
Anticipated dredging start date is 1 August 2012 with an anticipated completion date of 30 September 2012.
