Gazprom, Vietnam Sign LNG MoU

Gazprom Marketing and Trading Singapore, a unit of Russia’s Gazprom and PetroVietnam have signed a memorandum of understanding on deliveries of Russian LNG to Vietnam, Gazprom said in a statement.

The MoU was signed yesterday during a visit by Truong Tan Sang, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Gazprom headquarters in Moscow.

“ The meeting paid special attention to the prospects for possible Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplies to Vietnam. In the course of the meeting, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding took place.

The Memorandum covers the LNG supply cooperation between Gazprom Marketing & Trading and Petrovietnam Gas, a Vietnamese Joint Stock Corporation ,” Gazprom said.
