AquaTerra Solutions Ltd, specialist in Rope Access Services and Health and Safety Training, has seen a major up-take of sales for its ARK Rescue Kit systems.

Total sales rose by more than 320% in June, compared with the year before where the company saw 7 kits sold in the UK.

As leaders in work at height and complex access, the company developed and launched a lightweight rescue kit in 2009 in response to demand from their clients.

Three years on, the ARK has been extremely well received with orders from onshore and offshore operators, drillers and dive support vessels in the UK, West Africa and the Middle East.

The impressive result underlines the company’s expertise in work at height and rescue and the industry’s resurgence to emergency preparedness.

Simple and effective to use, there is minimum training time required as a result and certification can be done onboard so there is no need to ship it back to the UK.

The company says its “added advantage” is that its Training Division can provide clients, who purchase the ARK, with the relevant training at its bespoke and fully equipped training facility in Aberdeen or onboard the client’s facilities.

AquaTerra sells a range of work at height and rescue kits and services its clients internationally through its offices in Aberdeen and Ghana.
