Taiwan telecom provider Chunghwa Telecom announced that the first submarine cables linking Taiwan with China have been completed. As AFP reports the cables link China’s city of Xiamen with the Taiwanese Kinmen island, and are due to go into operation on Tuesday. The cable project is a joint venture
Taiwan telecom provider Chunghwa Telecom announced that the first submarine cables linking Taiwan with China have been completed.
As AFP reports the cables link China’s city of Xiamen with the Taiwanese Kinmen island, and are due to go into operation on Tuesday.
The cable project is a joint venture between Chunghwa Telecom and China’s three main telecom operators – China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile.
