AWE Limited, via subsidiaries, has received a progress update on the BassGas Mid Life Enhancement (“MLE”) project Stage 1 from Origin Energy Limited (ASX: ORG), the Operator of the BassGas project.

Lloyd’s Register Asia has completed the independent validation of the installation, commissioning and testing of the accommodation module and associated safety facilities on the Yolla A platform.

Subject to weather conditions, which are currently delaying operations, final testing of the BassGas offshore facilities is expected to commence this week. Hydrocarbons will be introduced to the Yolla A platform once testing is successfully completed.

Participants in the BassGas Project are:

AWE Limited (via subsidiaries) 46.25%

Origin Energy Limited (via subsidiaries) (Operator) 42.50%

Toyota Tsusho Gas E&P Trefoil Pty Ltd 11.25%
