The Government of Thailand Thailand government has approved the USD 35,6 million project to connect the Phangan island with the a new underwater cable, writes Bangkok Post.
75 % of the project money will be acquired from domestic loans, while the rest will be acquired by the Provincial Electricity Authority.
Namely, the project screening committee chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Kittiratt Na-Ranong has proposed this project.
