Rem Offshore Enters Newbuilding Contract for One OSCV (Norway)

Rem Offshore ASA has entered into a newbuilding contract for one OSCV vessel at Kleven Verft AS. The vessel is of the MT6022 design with a length of 108 meters and a breadth of 22 meters. Rem Offshore ASA has entered into a newbuilding contract for one OSCV vessel at Kleven Verft AS. The vessel is of the MT6022 design with a length of 108 meters and a breadth of 22 meters. The vessel will be delivered from yard in 1th quarter 2014. The contract price for the vessel is approx NOK 600 million (USD 104.6 million).

Rem Offshore has already secured a contract for the vessel. The firm contract period is approximately 8 years, with a further 5 yearly options. The $174.4 worth contract will kick off after the delivery of the vessel. Rem did not reveal the name of the client but said that the customer is “an international subsea company.”
