On November 5, the award ceremony for 2012 Top 100 Hong Kong Listed Companies took place in Hong Kong. CCCC ranked 32nd. Liu Wensheng, Chief Economist and the Board Secretary, attended the ceremony and received the award on behalf of CCCC.
The event was organized by Finet and Tencent, and co-organized by Hong Kong Economic Journal, the Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies, the Hong Kong Institute of Financial Analysts and Professional Commentators, CBN Research and the Faculty of Business, City University of Hong Kong.
The selection was based on the weighted composite scoring of market value, net profit, return on dividend, turnover and shareholder return for all-round measurement of comprehensive strength. The event is aimed to build the most authoritative and credible list of Hong Kong listed companies, establish a new value benchmark for Hong Kong stock market, thereby providing a valuable investment guide to investors.
Winning the award shows the remarkable achievements of CCCC in such aspects as market role, business performance and global popularity as a publicly listed company, and the market’s recognition of the company.
