Sterling Resources Ltd. announced that John P. Collenette has been appointed to Sterling’s Board of Directors, effective November 13th, 2012.
Collenette has more than 30 years of experience in finance and commodity trading, most recently as a senior finance executive with Vitol Services Limited. He retired from this position in 2011. Collenette is a resident of the United Kingdom.
“We welcome John to our Board and we look forward to his advice and counsel as Sterling continues in the exploration and development of its petroleum assets. His experience will strengthen our ability to support management in creating value for our shareholders,” said Walt DeBoni, Chairman of the Board of Sterling Resources Ltd.
As a result of this appointment, Sterling’s Board will be increased to seven members.
