TenneT Offshore Announces Subsea Cables Supply Tender (Germany)

The project includes manufacturing, supply and installation of AC submarine cables, including fibre optics, in the region of the cluster SylWin designed for a transmission capacity of up to 300 MW per wind farm and a p

TenneT Offshore GmbH has announced tender invitation for supply of subsea cables.

The project includes manufacturing, supply and installation of AC submarine cables, including fibre optics, in the region of the cluster SylWin designed for a transmission capacity of up to 300 MW per wind farm and a power level of about 155 kV.

It also includes the supply of retractable cord on the platform of the operator of the offshore wind farm (s), and the creation of crossing structures.

The project should start on April 30, 2012, and should be completed until March 21, 2017.

The tenders should be submitted in German and English until December 12, 2012.
