After introduction of the IHC Beaver 65 DDSP last week the new standard dredger was now also presented at the exhibition on the CEDA Dredging days in Abu Dhabi.
At this exhibition more technical data were made available.
In a first reaction Robert Jonk, general manager IHC Middle East located in the UAE , stated: “This dredger is even better than its predecessor. It has more cutting power, more pumping power and a standard intergraded spud carrier, but also significant improvements on the dredging console and general layout. Also some good options like a different kind of very innovating cutters, such as the Lancelot cutter. For working in area’s with waves the IHC spud guard will give the contractor more dredging hours.”
