STX France SA has received an order to build one offshore substation due for delivery in 2014 for a wind farm in Northern Europe.
STX France will perform the detail design and deliver the substation topside module, the jacket foundation and the piles.
The contract will represent around 150 000 man-hours. Construction is expected to start early 2013.
