What started as a promising year has become a record breaking period for TOS Ship Delivery department. Already in March 2012 TOS sailed a record number of eight voyages around the globe. Also the number of ship deliveries and seafarers that will be sailing around the globe this Holiday Season will be substantial.
This month the counter will reach seven ship deliveries, but the record of March 2012 (eight vessels) will be crushed in January 2013. In January already eight ship delivery contracts are signed to start the same month. Together with the voyages that started in December and did not reach their final destination yet, a new record number of ship deliveries that are sailing the world and heading for their final destination will be reached.
Before New year’s day the Sleepboot 42 will leave the port of Valencia (Spain), the Ingulskyj will leave the port of Galatz (Ukraine) and the Finland will leave TOS’ “back yard” the Waalhaven Rotterdam to sail to her final destination.
The Division Maritime is already preparing for new ship delivery projects in 2013.
